By accessing or using Video Case Story ("the Service"), operated by Video Case Story ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Video Case Story is an AI-powered video interview platform that helps businesses capture authentic customer success stories. The Service includes:
- AI-guided voice interviews that follow a structured storytelling framework
- Video recording of interview sessions
- Automated transcription of interview recordings
- Dashboard for managing interviews, viewing recordings, and downloading assets
- Invitation system for sending interview links to customers
USER ACCOUNTS
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You shall not:
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm other users or interviewees
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Use the Service to collect personal information without consent
- Record interviewees without their knowledge and consent
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without written permission
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, AI technology, storytelling frameworks, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Video Case Story. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without written permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service, including interview recordings, transcripts, and business profile information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Interviewee Content
As a business owner using the Service, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from interviewees for the recording and use of their video interviews. You represent that you have the right to use any customer testimonials or stories captured through the Service.
SUBSCRIPTION AND BILLING
Plans and Pricing
The Service offers subscription plans with varying features and interview limits. Current plans are Starter ($49/month), Growth ($99/month), and Agency ($249/month). Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, taxes, and payment compliance. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Lemon Squeezy's refund policy.
Usage Limits
Each plan includes a monthly limit on the number of interviews. If you exceed your plan's limit, you will need to upgrade to a higher tier. Unused interviews do not roll over to the next billing period.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Video Case Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
DISCLAIMER
While we strive to provide a reliable service, we do not guarantee that the AI interviewer will perform perfectly in all situations. Interview quality may vary based on internet connection, audio/video equipment, and environmental factors. We are not responsible for the content of interviews or how business owners use the resulting recordings and transcripts.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Video Case Story, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Video Case Story operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
